yeah, my Crimson Carapace Shield does the same thing. Sometimes it's annoying, but I don't even notice it when I'm fighting.

It's also terrible on those Embossed Aegis things...nothing we can do about it really

With shields they were probably made to hang out like that so they wouldn't clip into you (notice if it was alittle closer to you it'd be cutting through your shoulder), and it doesnt look THAT weird having a shield out like that.
They dont have this luxery with offhands, which also have a HUGE clipping problem on some models. |

magma's shields and summit warlords are quite good ...they don't float extremely
